There’s a unique ache in writing from a place of pain. It stings, but it breathes life. It opens a door where healing can walk in. That’s exactly what happened when I sat down to write Trusting God Through Every Trial.
This wasn’t just a song— it was a deep love for God that went beyond survival. I didn’t write it from a place of comfort. I wrote it in the middle of my life’s hardest challenges. Every word came from pain I had to face, faith I had to hold on to, and hope I was desperate not to lose.
What Inspired This Song
The heart of the song beats with the truth found in Isaiah 43:2 (NKJV):
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”
That verse kept me going. I kept coming back to it on nights when everything felt like too much—when I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to do. I couldn’t fix what was happening around me. All I could do was lean on God and trust Him. And in that still, honest moment of surrender… the lyrics started to flow.
Another verse that shaped this message is Romans 8:28 (NKJV):
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”
It reminded me: nothing is wasted. Not even tears.
Creating in the Fire: The Process
Producing this song was like building an altar. I laid my burdens down and let each chord carry a message of hope, perseverance, and unfailing love. Sometimes I wept in front of the mic. Other times, I sat in silence, letting the Spirit move before hitting record.
I wanted people to feel the truth of Psalm 34:18 (NKJV):
“The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit.”
The Song: Trusting God Through Every Trial
Here are the lyrics that flowed from that sacred place of worship and surrender:

Why I Shared This Song with the World
It wasn’t for fame. It wasn’t for numbers. It was for the broken—the person battling unseen battles. It was for the one who’s praying, waiting, and barely holding on.
I wanted this song to be a message in a bottle: You are not alone. God sees your tears. He hears the cries you don’t speak. He walks with you in the fire, and He will not let you go.
Hebrews 13:5 (NKJV) echoes that truth:
“For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Let This Song Be Your Anchor

Listen to the song. Let it speak to your soul. Let it remind you that faith isn’t about feelings—it’s about trust. God is bigger than the storm, and His love will last forever.
